FIELD TRIPS

My family and I went to the California Science Center in L.A. First, I used a big lever to lift a Toyota Tundra.

Then, we went inside and saw the Space Shuttle Endeavor. It was bigger than I thought, and the outside looked soft  and squishy. It was very cool.

After that, we went to the River Zone and built a dam with sand. I also blew puffs of air with an air cannon towards a silver sequin covered wall. The air created ripples.

We also tried the Wright Flyer Simulator. It showed what it would be like to fly the Wright Brothers glider at Kitty Hawk.

Lastly, we went to the IMAX theater and watched "The Flight of the Butterflies" in 3D. The movie was cool because it looked like you could grab the butterflies. I learned that Butterflies migrated so far. Some flew from Michigan to Mexico!
